Sharon was born and raised in northwest Indiana. She has made Naples her home for the past 25 years. Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Logos Christian College majoring in Counseling and Accounting. A lifelong student, she has attained designations as a Certified Club Manager and Certified Chief Executive (Club Managers Association of America) a Certified Crowd Control Manager (North Naples Fire Control District) and Certified Food Handler (ServSafe). She also holds a Florida License in Community Association Management.
Sharon recently served as Co-Chair for the local chapter of the Club Managers Association as well as serving on the Board of Directors for the state association of Florida Club Managers. She is currently Co-Chair for the Charity Golf Classic. A club manager's gala and golf tournament raising funds for southwest Florida's newest children's hospital, Golisano Children's Hospital.
Her hobbies include golf, boating, fishing, reading, baking and sewing.
Laura grew up in Clearwater, Florida. She attended college on a full academic scholarship, and graduated from the University of South Florida with an Accounting degree magna cum laude. Laura has 21 years of accounting experience, and has been employed as a financial analyst, a controller for a stock broker/dealer, and has spent the last 13 years as a controller in the club industry. Laura was hired by Longshore Lake in September 2011.
Her free time is spent with her husband, John, and keeps busy taking their three kids to cheerleading, basketball, and ballet. Laura's family loves to vacation in Vermont.
Mark was born and raised in southern Maine. After College He moved to Cincinnati. It was in Cincinnati that he started his hospitality career. His first job was working at the Maisonette Restaurant. The Maisonette held the distinction as the longest running five star restaurant in the country. After a few years there Mark received a number of job offers, one was the Food and Beverage Manager at Ivy Hills Country Club. This was his first position in private clubs. He was with Ivy Hills for close to five years. Mark came to Naples on vacation and decided to make Naples his home. He worked for eight years at the Bay Colony Club, and three years as the General Manager of the Opus Restaurant.
Mark's favorite way to spend time off is with anything to do with his wife and daughter.
Since 2011 he has been proud to be Food and Beverage Director at Longshore Lake.
Mike grew up in Pennsylvania. He was a Middle States ranked player and participated in many USTA National Junior tournaments. He went to college at Penn State. Mike began his teaching career at several private Clubs in the Pennsylvania area. He came to Naples to enjoy his career in the great Florida weather. His first job in town was as a Professional at The Naples Bath & Tennis club. At the same time he also coached the Naples High Girls tennis team.
Mike was hired as the Director of Tennis at Longshore Lake in the Fall of 2004. During his time at Longshore Lake he has very successfully has run: Calcuttas, Relay For Life Pro-Ams, hosted the Naples area Pro League and many USTA & CTA League winning teams.
Lisa grew up in New Jersey. Growing up she was a Nationally competitive cheerleader. Lisa has varied job experience before coming to Longshore Lake. She has been a marketing Director for a non-profit organization. She also put her youthful cheerleading skills to good use by becoming a competitive cheerleading Coach. Lisa was hired by Longshore Lake in the spring of 2012. In April 2013 Lisa earned her Community Association Manager (CAM) certification.
In her free time, she spends quality beach time with her two girls. She is also involved with the girls in cheerleading.
Kevin is originally from Highland, New York. He received his degree from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park New York. He has won awards in American Culinary Federation Hot Food Competition's and was a part-time teacher at Lorenzo Walker Institute in Naples. Kevin has over 30 years in the private club industry, at both city clubs and country clubs in New York, Georgia and Florida. His experience over the years has given him the opportunity to open several city clubs from the ground up as the executive chef with Club Corporation of America and a total renovation at Hideaway Beach Club on Marco Island where he was the executive chef for fifteen years.
Kevin has been married to his wife Jane for the past 21 years; they have a black Lab named Sam and Lulu the cat.
